Nix is an accomplished Chief of Staff to a Corporate VP/GM and Senior Technical Leader at Intel Corporation with nearly 25 years of expertise in operational excellence, strategic alignment, transition change management, and cross-functional leadership across multinational operations. She has held leadership and technical roles in Intel facilities across the Philippines, Israel, Vietnam, Malaysia, and the United States, where she is currently based.
A certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Nix has extensive experience as an international Strategic Lean Program Manager and was Intel’s leader and owner of the Kaizen Training and Certification program. Her career highlights include managing manufacturing operations with teams of ~200 staff, 11 years in product development engineering for chipsets and microprocessors, and leading high-volume manufacturing startups and ramps.
Nix’s international assignments include greenfield startups, strategic Lean initiatives, and key roles in manufacturing and product development in Vietnam, Malaysia, and the US. Her achievements span driving process improvements, operational efficiency, and capacity/output optimization across Asia sites and Costa Rica. She has also pioneered automation initiatives, including AI-driven projects and factory excellence strategies, while building data fluency programs and technical curricula for engineering teams.
With over 400 hours of training and presentations delivered, Nix is a sought-after speaker in Lean, Manufacturing, Process Excellence, and Agile conferences across the US and Asia. She has chaired five international working groups and co-led a Lean Learning Panel at the Engineering LSS Conference in Atlanta. Her presentations cover topics like Authentic Leadership, project management, Lean manufacturing, leading Lean in the frontline and Lean Six Sigma, among others.
Known for her cross-cultural communication skills, leading ERGs (Women at Intel, Multi-Cultural Alliance) and 15 years of international living experience, Nix excels in fostering collaboration across diverse, multi-site teams. She has earned multiple site management awards and is celebrated for her leadership, innovation, and ability to drive long-lasting organisational change.
Nix graduated with a degree in B.S. Physics specialising in Superconductors and Computer Applications. She also completed an Executive MBA Degree in Ateneo De Manila University and Regis University.
